The two biggest Muay Thai fighters in New York are FINALLY going to go head to head this Friday. Though a few more people are betting on Sean Hinds, I put all my money on CROM and it’s not because I’m his trainer.

The two biggest Muay Thai fighters in New York are FINALLY going to go head to head this Friday. Though a few more people are betting on Sean Hinds, I put all my money on CROM and it’s not because I’m his trainer. It’s because he has big eyebrows.

Fight details here.

A pretty funny video, but obviously you haven’t checked out Hinds’ eyebrows. They’re pretty huge too! Too bad it’s not a battle of the eyebrows. Chris doesn’t stand much of a chance- Hinds is a killer!

  12. blerg says:

I studied muay thai in thailand for three months, and havent done shit in the past two years. i want to get back into, but the faggot gyms here in nyc wont let you spar unless youre an expert or something. any recs, gavin? i see no point in training unless there is sparring.

  13. Bourgeois Swayze says:

    @ blerg:

At most gyms the sparring classes are usually invitational. They want to know they can trust that their training partners wont injure them. You take chances when you let just any old douche off the street join your sparring sessions.

If you stick at one gym and put the time in, you’ll get into the sparring soon enough—especially if having been to a muay thai camp is on your “resume.”
