I made two movies this year. One was a low budget comedy called How to be A Man and the other was a no budget doc about comedy called The Brotherhood of the Traveling Rants

The doc just got into Slamdance so we’re going to go down and try to sell it which never happens. This will be our 4th film in a festival. Street Carnage Films got into a few festivals for Sanza Hanza including Slamdance the same time Asshole got into SundanceA Million in the Morning got into The Oakland International Film Festival whatever that is. They’ll all be on Netflix eventually except, ironically, the one Netflix sponsored because they hated it.

As a Scottish person, the joy of getting into festivals is bittersweet because although it’s nice to be recognized by your peers, the prices of hotels during this time are like throwing your wallet off a cliff. How can anyone relax when they know their hotel room is almost $1,000 a night? Oy vey!

Anyway, here’s the trailer…

NOTE: The stand-up footage from this movie  that appeared on YouTube were just outtakes from the cutting-room floor. The movie is all new shit. Also, it’s funny.

  5. itchypeach says:

    thank god, man. gotta see this shit

  6. Nathan says:

    I really wanted to watch the ‘Million in the Morning’ doco but when I finally when to buy it was sold out, are you guys going to be re-releasing it?

  7. Lester says:

    I saw the Boston show, don’t need to see this.

  8. Gavin says:

    @Lester it was a diff show every night because stand up comedy is easy.

  9. Lester says:

    @Gavin I know. My act is all jokes about Raymi. I’m like “What is going on with that girl?” and everybody laughs.

  10. Holly says:

    I had to hit the pause button around 1:19 because watching middle aged guys act like teenagers doesn’t really turn me on much. And the little snippets of “comedy” shown made the middle aged teenage antics seem mature. I’m going to take a pass on this movie gem. Maybe some critic will label it a “feel good, John Hughes-esk romp with old unattractive hairy guys instead of unattractive teenagers filled with angst.”

  11. RED says:

    @Holly
    Why would you press pause, to watch it later? Why not hit stop or even click away?
