Sometimes when I’m walking the streets of Oslo, people come up to me and they ask: “Lasse, what is love?”

Ah, yes, the age-old question. What is love? Mystics and wise men have tried to answer that since time immemorial, yet most of them have failed to give a satisfying answer. What those eggheads and wisenheimers don’t seem to understand is that love, as The Four Aces once sang, is a many-splendored thing. Love is everywhere, and it’s in everything. It’s in the good things we do, and the bliss that we feel. Love is the greatest power in the universe, and love is also in the tiniest kind deed.

You still don’t understand what love is, grasshopper? Well, let’s sit down and take a look at some love, why don’t we?

Love is spending time with your family.

Love is two friends sharing similar interests.

Love is being kind to animals.

Love is to embrace life, even if you have no arms.

The love of art is strong in some people.

Others prefer carnal pleasures. That’s love, too!

Love is to lift someone up when they’re down.

Some people love to wander the streets and feel the pulse of the city.

If you’re so busy chatting with a new acquaintance on the internet, you hardly have time to get off the chair, then that’s love, baby!

Love is showing the world that you’re not afraid to be different.

Love is helping a stranger just because you feel like it!

Love knows no age.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve lost the use of your legs, because love can make you fly.

Love is being indoors on a freezing winter’s day.

Love is also to be outdoors when the weather is warm and the sun caresses your body.

Love is to do a favor for someone less fortunate.

Love knows no color.

Love is to hold on to your childhood.

So there you have it, my friend. Love can be so much. Now, why don’t you get off your chair, go out into the world, and spread a little love around yourself?

Thanks to Steinar and the FNFGN crew for pictures and love.

I’ve seen beheading videos, horrible gore and watched people get stabbed in real life, but this photos were far more depressing. Humanity is truly a shitty, smelly monkey grasping desperately for some dimestore illusion of happiness.
